We finally have somethin exciting to do on New Year's Eve!

After all the plans were cancelled (Lombok batal, Hong Kong tiba-tiba harga tiket melonjak gila-gilaan, Jogja agak ragu buat taun baruan) dan sampe tadi siang masih hampa ga tau mau ngapain...Tiba-tiba si anak Joglo manis bener hunting-hunting tiket seharian (yang cepet abis naik nya tiap itungan jam) dan udah hopeless ga dapet apa-apa... Tapi tiba-tiba, dapet juga!!!

Kita insya Allah bakal pacaran lagi di Orchard hihhi..

Brangkuts naik Lion Air tanggal 30 des di pagi buta (again!) dan pulang lewat Batam naik Batavia tanggal 3, nginep numpang di tempat Tanty (well, gue kesana kan buat nemenin elo taun baruan tan hahahhaa...), uang jajan dari angpau dollar yang belom kepake, terus NYE nya di Sentosa..all set!

Alhamdulilah Okita dapet rejeki dadakan di akhir tahun hihih..
Bener-bener ga disangka-sangka, eh tapi bukan dari jual diri lohhh...eh, sort of deng huahahua...
Entar deh aib nya dibongkar kelak... hihihi

Oiya, 31 december is my birthday ! *sekedar mengingatkan bagi siapapun yang perlu diingatkan* :D hihihi...

How We LOVE This Holiday!

This holiday is super fun for us..!
We filled it with all fun things..food, movies, family and friends gatherings, pampering in salon, and shopping!!!! Lalalala....!

Dari hari Rabu, pulang kantor kita langsung ngebut buat nonton Avatar 3D di Blitz. Untung Okky udah beli tiketnya,jadi ga perlu antri. Tapi tetep nyampe nya mepet, gara-gara macet ajahhh..Pas disana, rencana awal mau makan, tapi ternyata melipir ke Forever 21 dan daerah sekitar hihi..terus, tiba-tiba inget kalo Gramedia sale 30% !!. Tapi pas ngeliat jam tangan, film nya 1/2 jam lagi dah mo mulai, akhirnya gue begging ke Okky untuk dia ngantriin kasir, dan gue udah kaya main game Supermarket Sweep, secepat kilat langsung masukin buku-buku...Ahhh kurang puassss!! langsung abis itu lari ke bioskop, jauh gilak..Akhirnya beli si hotdog sederhana tapi overprice buat dinner kita. Film nya??? Kerennnn!!! Hotdog nya??? yuckk!!

Besoknya kita leyeh-leyeh, terus mampir bentar untuk lunasin booking fee rumah idaman kita. Yup, akhirnya kita nekat jalan terus hehe...cerita lengkap ntar deh.. Dari sana, memutuskan bercentil ria untuk nyalon. Iya, kita berdua hihihi..Dan nyari yang deket-deket, akhirnya iseng nyoba nyalon di Pejaten Village, mall kebanggaan Dinda warga Pejaten dan sekitarnya, sambil makan J.Cool dan dilanjutkan dinner di Ah Mei Cafe, our favorite.

Pas hari Natal nya, keluarga gue ngadain arisan. Tapi kali ini arisan nya sambil mancing, di Cinangka, di tempat pemancingan dari jaman gue SD dulu..Yak, disinilah tempat terjadi aib gue dan sepupu-sepupu gue banci tampil nyanyi histeris lagu Ruth Sahanaya, disinilah tempat kita mengganggu ketenangan para pemancing dan warga sekitar. Nih, yang ikutan segambreng, nyewa saung cuma 2 biji.

Jadilah pas makan asli semua merapat-merapat, gerah dan gendut huahuahuhaa...

Kali ini gue ga terlalu banyak mancing keributan, tapi santai-santai ajah, gosip dan makan, terus palingan jadi hostes nya Okky hoho..

Gue malah heboh ngakak-ngakak sama tante-tante gue dan sepupu-sepupu gue gara-gara bahas Twitter! buset dah, semua tante gue dah punya twitter duluan dibanding gue hihi...Dan ada satu super aib tante gue..terbongkarlah, ternyata dia lah pelaku pendukung Ariel dan Luna yang dimuat di Detik Hot! omigod! hauhaha.. Mana ikrib bener pulak, twitter ke Ariel diawali dengan kata-kata: "Riel..." buset ikrib! huahuaa..

Baru sore kita balik sambil membawa hasil jarahan pancingan dan berlanjut dengan pesta duren. Sayang agak kurang sukses nih pesta duren, abisan mahal bener si abang ngasih harga, gara-gara ngeliat yang dateng segambreng hihih...

Dari sana, langsung deh kita pulang ke Joglo buat nginep. Alhamdulilah, pas lagi asik-asik maraton DVD bajakan hehe, si Dilla sepupu nya Okky tiba-tiba bbm-in terus ngundang makan-makan di Peppenero besok karena doi ulang taun..hoorayy!!

Besok nya, tanpa tendeng aling-aling alias tanpa sarapan, dua anak rakus tak mau rugi ini langsung menuju ke Peppenero dan makan banyaaakkkk!!!

Aku memesan si makanan favorite ku, mie item salmon hihihi..dan Okky kali ini sok gaya, sok mafioso dengan memesan Osso Buco, yang ternyata super enak...hihih..yaiyalah, mahil gitu..Dasar anak gendut tak mau rugi kau! cerdas bernas hahaha...

Dari sana, berhubung gue ma Okky udah niat parah buat berburu sale ke PIM akhirnya langsung deh kita kesana, dan parkiran antri gilak. Langsung valet dan melompat turun. Bukannya gimana, tapi kan kita jarang belanja (oh, really???) jadi kita ngasih hadiah ke diri sendiri deh pas akhir tahun hehehe... Padahal di Bandung juga udah sempet belanja dikiiittt.. hihihi... Terakhirnya, kami PUASSSS dengan belanjaan nya hohohoo...eh belom deng, gue di Zara ga dapet apa-apa

Mulai taun depan irit lagi yak kita beib hihhii...

Nah, besoknya adalah penutup pamungkas yang lebih menyenangkan hahaha...Me and my bestfriends planned to have a Christmas Brunch. Kali ini penasaran nyoba brunch buffet di Gourmet Garage Kemang, harganya itu Rp. 150.000 ++, all you can eat including drinks. Jadi di sana tiap weekend ada brunch sekaligus lunch. Cuma kalo mau ala carte yang biasa juga bisa hehe...

Menyenangkan...!! Jadi brunch nya itu dari jam 11-3, terus kita beneran bercokol dari jam 11an sampe jam 1/2 3 huahuahuhaa...
Makanan nya enak-enak, dari ala breakfast (omellet,pancake, hash brown,dll) sampe roast turkey, oyster and japanese food.

Bulak-balik mulu deh semua nyaaa..yang cowok-cowok bahagia bener hihihi...
Seru-seruan, ketawa-ketawa, ngobrol-ngobrol dan foto-foto..

My Best Friends' Wedding: Tackling the Big Bird

Yesterday, after 7 years of dating, my bestfriends Vitri and Arief, were finally tying the knot! Exciting! They're just so great together..

One can't have too many friends, but the bride and groom have lotsa acquaintances, the Golden Ballroom hardly contained them..we arrived at 7.30 pm yet not until 9 pm we were able to congratulate the bride and groom on stage! Fab!

Oh, inspired by the peacock turquoise fur on my wedding, Vitri also gave different colors of fur for different group of people. Only slightly bigger. No, I lied, it's a lot bigger. And higher. Me and my friends got the yellow one. So I finally could tackle that yellow big bird to beautify my hair. Little bun and little trim here and there (the fur, not my hair) with my mom's help, voila! *although her actual remarks were: Dinda kaya anak ayam* LOL.

The food was great, especially the music. The band was Bonita and Friends. It's us sitting tiredly on the stage, waited for our turn to get photographed and rather enjoy the music. You can actually see the yellow bird says hellow!

Trying Our Luck

Following our finding, so this is what occupied us last night.

Completing all required documents, making copies of requested documents, filled in the application form, and lastly, providing the booking fee.

Yup, this is our first attempt (and hopefully will have a happy ending) to achieve our dream house. Considering that my profession unfortunately limits our chance to get KPR (or any kind of credit offered by bank actually), we don't put our hopes too high.

But still, the corner of our hearts are beating faster than ever and look forward to hearing from the bank soon. Hopefully they won't let us down this time

Long Weekend Getaway

This weekend would be fun!

My bestfriend is getting married this Friday (Hi Vit & Arif!) in Hotel Sultan,

and just last week, Okky's parents asked us to attend a wedding in Bandung to represent them on Saturday, as the bride is Okky's childhood friend.

At first, we were reluctant to say yes, because the wedding will be held on Saturday morning! while on Friday, in the morning we will attend Vitri& Arif's akad nikah in Puncak and later in the evening we'll have a blast on their wedding reception.

Imagine the weariness should we drive early for 2 weekend days in a row (beib, imagine this, since you're gonna be the one who drives tee hee.. ). So we decided to spend our long weekend in Bandung! hahaha..!

I know it's only Bandung, yet we haven't tasted our first official trip as husband and wife (well honeymoon asides) So I guess, it can be the beginning for this rookie travelers hehee...

Oh, just yesterday, Okky's dad called and told us that we got a room in Bandung in his friend's hotel FOR FREE!

Sweet..!!

This Might Be It!

Hari Sabtu kemarin gue dan Okky memulai lagi perburuan kami mencari rumah di daerah Jagakarsa setelah drama terakhir tentang rumah. Semua gara-gara kita mulai iseng-iseng browsing di Rumah123 dan ternyata agen properti yang waktu itu ngebantuin kita cari rumah di Jagakarsa, memposting beberapa iklan rumah baru.

Pas kita liat iklannya, kok kalo dari facade rumah nya, kirain rumah yang sama kaya yang kita liat di Kahfi 2 dulu, yet it's slightly different. Akhirnya kita coba nelfon, dan ternyata ini emang cluster yang beda, letaknya di Jagakarsa 1, di jalan Sirsak, jadi tempatnya lebih ke depan. Semakin kita liat-liatin gambarnya, kayanya semakin sreg. Tapi ga mau suka dulu sebelum hunting lokasi, jadi deh kita janjian hari Sabtu kemaren.

Ternyata, lokasi nya enak banget! Tempatnya pas di belakang pom bensin Jagakarsa, dan dia kebetulan hanya cluster kecil yang terdiri dari 8 rumah. Dan disekitarnya pun ada beberapa cluster kecil. Kalau dulu kita hunting rumah di Jagakarsa, pasti kebanyakan yang masuk gang-gang kecil gitu, nah kalo cluster yang kemaren ini nggak. Jalanan depan nya besar, dan kebetulan ujungnya buntu, jadi enak ga gabung sama perkampungan gitu.

Pas kita liat dalem nya, hmm...tambah naksir. Soalnya, luas tanah nya emang ga gede-gede banget (LT 135m2/LB 100m2), tapi menurut kita orangnya lumayan pinter nge design nya, jadi seolah-olah tempatnya gede. Di satu sisi dia bikin plong, plafon nya pun sangat tinggi, terus pemilihan keramik lantainya pun bukan yang kelihatan murahan (you know, putih dan kecil-kecil bak ketombe).

Kamar tidurnya itu ada 3 kamar, 1 kamar utama dan 2 kamar biasa. Menurut kita sih, kamar utama nya emang kecil (3,5 x 4 m), tapi ada kamar mandi gede yang ada bathtub nya heuheuheu....

Untuk 2 kamar yang lain, yang satu menurut gue super kecil (2,75 x 3m), paling cocok jadi musholla or library or ruang kerja. Kalo yang satu lagi masih kecil normal (3x3m), jadi masih cukup lah untuk kamar tidur.

Tapi bagian yang paling penting menurut gue itu adalah, ada taman kecil di belakang! Ini cita-cita gue banget nih untuk punya taman kecil, gara-gara obsesi punya taman kecil, maka si Rusunami Lebak Bulus pun gue lepas hihi...

Jadi untuk ventilasi dan pencahayaan harusnya cukup, karena untuk menuju taman, kita tinggal buka pintu geser (which is a brilliant idea for a small house) dan di atasnya pun ada ventilasi udara. Yup, gue suka rumah yang terang (banyak cahaya matahari) dan angin nya banyak!

Untuk kamar pembantu dan kamar mandi serta tempat jemur, mereka buat di lantai 2. Jadi rumah ini sebenernya 1,5 lantai. Terus, berhubung ini cluster kecil, kalau untuk dapet udara dari pintu depan agak mengurangi privacy. Tapi dengan sistem bukaan semua dibelakang, privacy untuk keluarga pun terjaga banget.

Kalau ngintip dikit diatas (sorry foto nya seuprit), dapurnya letaknya masih diluar sih, layaknya standar dari developer untuk cluster-cluster kecil. Tapi bagusnya pemilihan kabinet dan keramiknya masih lumayan bagus.

Intinya sih, sebenernya rumah ini ga usah buru-buru renov pun masih sangat bagus, masih nyaman banget untuk ditempatin. Cocok deh kalo mau nabung-nabung dulu sebelum renovasi gede-gedean, soalnya semua yang dibutuhin udah disediain di rumah ini.

Ga sempet foto-foto banyak, soalnya udah liat gambar lengkap rumahnya di link ini.

Oiya, abis ngeliat cluster ini, kita diajak keliling liat-liat rumah di sekitar Jagakarsa yang lain sama agen nya. Tapi emang dasar udah naksir jatuh cinta berat sama cluster ini, jadi sore nya kita langsung balik lagi kesana hihihi...Nyokap gue dan nyokap nya Okky pun tadi siang udah kita suruh ngeliat kesana, terus mereka langsung ngedukung.

Kekurangan rumahnya cuma satu, harganya di luar budget kita dikit Tapi kemaren udah berhasil kita tawar sih, cuma tetep diatas budget kita.

Tapi setelah bersemedi, akhirnya kita putusin, mau coba urus dulu deh, siapa tau rejeki kita. So hari ini kita coba collect dokumen-dokumen yang dibutuhin dan nyiapin booking fee (yang lumayan gede ternyata hiks...). Udah siap dengan resiko KPR ditolak *pasrah abis* Haduh, kenapa sih lawyer itu dianggap high risk kalo di bank???

Doain semoga rumah ini jodoh kami yaaa...

Adorably Annoying Husband

There was an era where I was known as a very perfectionist person.

I insisted everything has to be in order, should be organized, and every place should be clutter free.

It was oblivious for me that such behaviour could be (very very very) annoying to some most people around me.

But one day, around 4 years ago, my perfectionist state of mind just stop. I don't know what suddenly changes me, but unorganized books in book shelf, DVDs scattered everywhere, my messy room, just simply don't bother me anymore.

Yet, apparently, it bothers someone.
That someone (who constantly checks my feet before go to bed and asks me to wash it before I can lie down on my own bed, and I persistently refuse of course) had just lost it last night.

To be informed, that someone has just caught severe diarrhea last night, so I was the one who drove all the way from Joglo to Pejaten. It was 9.30 pm, and he just entered into our room and suddenly had this serious look on his face and said:

"I can't take it anymore!"

Me was confused and slightly scared and didn't know how to respond. So that someone continued saying:

"Am gonna re-arrange the whole fiasco under the TV and put all of your DVDs into the right place! Tonight! At this moment!"

Me, the girl with unwashed-dirty-feet, just laughed and said:

"haha..my pleasure..."

So, ignoring his stomach ache, this is what he did until 11 pm:

While me, still with very dirty feet, was delving into blogwalking activity on my BB (but couldn't help to capture the moment, his look was priceless). During which, he repeatedly gasped on his findings:

"wow, this is a very good electrical cord! why on earth are you keeping it in here??"

"baby, is this a webcam? where is its box?"

"cool! you have a recorder??"

and other (snoopy) remarks.

"hey, what are you doing investigating my personal property? I thought you're just gonna arrange the whole DVDs" I said defensively.

and to answer his questions above:

1. IT IS a good electrical cord! I bought it on my first day in S'pore -don't ask why the first thing I bought was an electrical cord- and mistakenly saw the price tag! dammit it's $30! So, since I'm a cheapskate, I brought that thing with me while I was back for good. That's how it's landed here. In my small closet. I don't know where else to keep it.

2. It is my webcam! I used it to chat with you during our LDR. Now am no longer use it, so who cares about the box???

3. My dad gave it to me before I left for Singapore. To record the lecture. Which I never used. So, humor urself, please!

After a while, he satisfyingly shouted: done!
When I looked, my eyes were popped.
Everything is in place, of course.
BUT, what the hell is a pile of DVDs doing IN my first upper closet???
You CAN'T put DVDs in the upper closet! you just CAN'T!

So I calmly furiously said to him:
"beib, the upper closet is allocated ONLY for important papers, my PRECIOUS accounting book (cough, geek!), and other important gadgets!"

"then why you put those UNIMPORTANT papers, bills and other trash here?" he replied with victory.

shoot!

"Besides,by that we can make room for your Friends collection. I know they're imporant for you, so they deserve a little bit showing off"


Dammit! he knows my weakness.
So I was out of words and gave in.

But still, I couldn't help mischievously say to him:

"hey, you forgot a plastic of DVDs in the corner! haha!I guess it's NOT that organized" with wicked smile.

he said (with very disturbed look):
"no, it was intentional, we haven't watched that movie..so it stays there! Now go wash your feet!"

And of course, I said NO!

I guess annoying people stays together!

The above is so true.

Yet we prefer to change the meaning of such idiom into our own meaning, it takes two to maintain a good and happy marriage.

In this 2nd Monthversarry, let's make a promise that we'll apply the latter meaning more often than the first meaning. To remember that we're both responsible to create our own joy, make our own future, and to nurture our loves.

The Wedding Bell Is Ringing Once Again

No, not for us of course hehe...

This time is for Okky's brother!

Yup, weekend kemarin akhirnya keluarga Okky dan keluarga nya Desy (cewek abangnya Okky) kenalan keluarga resmi. Acaranya sekaligus ngerayain ulang tahun nya Desy di Bumbu Desa.

Sepanjang acara, gue ma Okky nahan-nahan ketawa ngeliat tampangnya Adi (abang nya Okky) dan Desy, yang grogi dan mulai stress..hahaha it reminds us of our own faces months ago! Ooh...ternyata gitu ya tampang orang kalo lagi kenalan keluarga pertama kali

Tapi pas lagi dikenalin satu persatu, pas giliran Okky, papa nya bilang gini:

"nah, kalo yang ini adek nya Adi, dia kawin duluan ngelangkahin abang nya, karena NGEBET KAWIN jadi kita bolehin"

hauahuahuahuhauhuaa...
Itulah akibat Ateng Minta Kawin, jadi nampaknya cap sebagai pasangan ngebet kawin akan terus terpatri di jidat kami.

Malu-maluin aja...

Tapi abis itu dibilang gini sih, "tapi bagus deh adek nya duluan, jadi si Adi terpacu mau married juga hihii..."

anyhoo...acara nya berlangsung lancar dan seru, keluarga nya pun asik-asik dan ramah. Satu orang abangnya Desy ada yang senior gue di kampus ternyata hehehe..Terus dia bilang "pantesan dari tadi muka nya familiar hehe.."

Hari Minggu nya, Desy main ke Joglo, sambil membawa perlengkapan perang haha..

Langsung rapat intensif ber jam-jam, mama papa nya Okky, Adi dan Desi.

Bak lagi mau dihukum aja tampangnya..

Lagi-lagi gue dan Okky ngetawain puas..

been there done that!

Akhirnya, ada Ateng Minta Kawin 2.

Kenalan keluarga kemaren, lamaran Januari tanggal 3, dan...acaranya bulan Mei!

Yup...Ateng baru, karena mereka ga mau lama-lama hihihi...

Setelah nelfon dan survey-survey tanggal, rata-rata udah fully booked!

Yaiyalah, udah pada dari kemaren-kemaren kali orang booking.

Yang lumayan kosong itu tanggal 1 Mei, tapi si Adi jadi curiga, kenapa banyak yang kosong.

Setelah diselidiki, ternyata itu hari Buruh.

Well, ga mau ambil resiko, akhirnya menyerah dan venue nya di Manggala Wanabhakti tanggal 15 Mei 2010.

Keluar kamar, langsung daku mendapat titah:

1. Katering kembali Alfabet.

2. Musik nya kembali Expert Entertainment.

Untuk yang nomor 1, ternyata mereka mempercayai Suhu alias nyokap gue hihihi..Katanya jago milih menu dan tau mana yang harus dibawelin paling sering jadi koordinator katering..

Iihh...padahal kan menu kawinan kemaren adalah hasil rancangan ku! hahaha... *ga rela & minta dipuji dot com*

Terus, langsung deh gue sms Adit buat minta penawaran baru.

Kirain abis selese ngurusin kawinan udah ga bakal berurusan sama vendor-vendor apapun lagi, ternyata oh ternyata...

Well..the good thing is...

We can finally taste the food from our wedding caterer!!

Nampaknya HAMPIR semua settled,

cuma satu yang belom.

Waktu Desi pamit pulang, dengan tampang desperate dia bilang

"Din, Okky, please tolong bujuk Adi dong tema nya jangan warna item. Gue sama Mama dah nyerah ni bujuk nya"

huauhauhaua LOL!

begitulah kalo pacar nya berjiwa metal..
