Our Not-So-Romantic-Yet-Essential Celebration

October is here...!!

Well, it's been here since couple weeks ago actually :D

Guess what are the events worthy to celebrate this month?

That's right!
It's Mr. October Three's birthday!

My Anak Joglo is 28 years old now... *although he smiles like an gigi semua 8 years old*

Remember how smart he was, when a year ago he insisted that he DIDN'T want to get married on his birthday, coz HE THNIKS that we're gonna have 2 celebrations instead of one on October?

IT DIDN'T HAPPEN.

we I was so occupied with works and pregnancy stuffs these days, so I didn't do anything special for him that day *sowwyyy..baby...* and in addition, his cousin got married on that day. So, yeah, we finally decided to have a very simple birthday celebration that day, and had sushi for lunch.

Yet, it's so easy to happify my guy..

I asked him that day:
How does it feel for him to be 28, married and about to be papa-papa have kid of his own? Does he scare? Does he feel old?

"I can't be happier...Everything's complete now"

owww...how can I not love this guy? *smooch*

We then agree that for this year, there will be no special-fancy-birthday gift for him us and we're gonna buy some essential stuffs for our home to be our gifts this year (read: bilang aja bokek berat).

What gift? Oh, it's the gifts for Our 1st Wedding Anniversary!!

Hoorahh!!

Still can't believe that we manage to get through a year without fighting and still standing tall...

We love our honeymoon days, we try to enjoy our struggling days,

There were days when we feel like kissing each other all day long, and there were days when we just want to kick each other's butt,

But in the end of the day, we're just so happy to be together..

Without further ado, these are the not-so-romantic-yet-essential-items we give for ourselves:

Queen size latex mattress for our future bedroom . Thanks to Cici Agnes, who is found by my friend from K*skus, for giving a really-really-really good price for the bed and the latex protector, plus those extra 2 latex pillows, which Okky ENJOYS very very very much! In fact, he literally throws away other pillows in our bed and said that he has the best nap ever after using the latex pillow (lebay). Oh, when we spent the night in Joglo, he secretly brought his latext pillow so that he could use it that nite..tsk..tsk..

Second item is rice cooker! hahaha...Begitu ibu-ibu...
This rice cooker meets our criterion for the-perfect-rice-cooker-for-us!
It has solid color (tak ada bunga-bunga), it's small, it's simple..
Already picked this one when we found it in M*tro, but then thanks to M*tro Big Sale, we got this rice cooker Rp. 100.000 cheaper than the actual price... yiihaaa!!

So, here are the list of other essential items to buy this month:
1. AC
2. Two doors refrigerator
3. Water dispenser
4. Cooker hood
Yang lain, nyusul bulan depan, nunggu gajian hahaha...

So, our simple celebration was continued by having an Anniversary Lunch at Satoo, Shangrila. Again, not-so-romantic-yet-essential-for-Ibu-Hamil huahuhahua...

Actually, Anak Joglo was nice enough on that day and finally allowed me to have sashimi that I've been craving for the past months.
But I suddenly changed my mind coz I don't wanna risk my baby's health..
And had (a lot of) this instead:

Smoked salmon, bagel and cream cheese, plus other vegetables contain brocoli (never happened to me before).

After having our not-so-romantic lunch, we then headed to Jagakarsa, just sat around doin nothing and enjoy every progress in our little house.

Not a very romantic celebration like any newlyweds should have,

but it's essential to be together on our special month,

and to know that our present and future look brighter than ever.

It is essential to be with you, Anak Joglo....
